Leslie began her career with Waddell & Reed in 1988, originally working as a Financial Advisor. Of the years she has been with the company she spent eighteen of them as either a District Manager or a Managing Principal. Leslie has always believed in strong advisor client relationships centered on financial planning and as a manager assisted many advisors in creating practices built on a solid service model.
When Leslie first came to Waddell & Reed as an ambitious mother of three she had no idea that over the years her professional life would greatly influence her personal life as slowly, over time, her own family moved into positions as her work colleagues. This generational shift came full circle eight years ago when Leslie transitioned to an Advisor Assistant role to assist her sons in their practice. Her decision also allowed her to focus on spending time with her grandchildren and exploring her passion for travel. Over the years, Leslie has been very actively involved in the community, as a long time member of Toastmasters and the Link for Women.
